We are proud to be the first ever to bring these one of a kind vessels to Vieques allowing you to be millimeters from the glowing water as you paddle across the bioluminescent bay to our viewing spot. There we come together for an interpretive talk about Puerto Mosquito and all its magical appeal. On clear nights the sky sparkles with the same brilliance as the bay.
The starting time of our two hour biobay tour depends on day of the month and lunar cycle of your trip so call for reservations and directions to the Green Store (La Tienda Verde) where we meet. Bring a towel and a smile and please use only organic bug spray.
Check the Vieques Moon Calendar for your vacation dates to find the best night to visit the bay. Look for the smallest moon or a few days after the full moon.

What an amazing experience. We went just this past Sunday (12/18) at 8:00 and the conditions were perfect. The sky was clear, the winds were calm, and the bay was BRIGHT. The clear boats really make all the difference in the world, and your guides were not only knowledgeable about the bay, but about the island as well. It was really interesting to hear what local Vieques residents had to say about the culture of the island as a whole. On our way back in they brought us closer toward the mangroves, where the bay was literally so bright that it looked like there were blue glow-sticks streaking off of the front of our kayaks. Oh and the ride down with Lomo was an adventure in itself. Thanks again for the amazing time, and I highly recommend this experience to any and everyone.
It’s like sitting on a stream of stars! A bed of fireflies! Hyperspace to Pandora! Clear canoes are definitely the way to go, short of jumping in (which isn’t allowed). My wife and I had a blast – definitely the highlight of our trip. Friendly service, knowledgeable guides, and Garry responded well to all our requests.
